CBD stands for cannabidiol, found in marijuana plants. According to many medical researchers and Food and Drug Administration, CBD is considered as a new drug. CBD is also a medical product for not having the intoxicating content of THC.

A group of medical experts has recommended CBD as ‘the future of medicine’. Nowadays, the vast majority of CBD products are available in market as dietary supplements. Due to different concentration of CBD in these dietary supplements, it is very difficult to know that which one is effective. Better to consult a medical expert.

However, some do not recommend these dietary supplements because of different concentration of CBD products. This will allow them to do more research on this subject so as to attain something that is consistent, trustworthy, and might be helpful against their ailments.

The Hemp Farming Act has been signed in December 2018 gets passed into law. Now huge retailers such as Whole Foods will target to initiate its advertisement and started selling CBD products as supplements. Finally we see that CBD will be a complete market in itself.

The industry is slowly flourishing. Last  2016, there were only 609 licensed hemp producers only in the USA and land of about 16,377 acres was used  for hemp cultivation. But with the increase in medical researches on this plant, the number of CBD producers increased to 1,211 and cultivation land increased to 39,194 acres in 2017.

Overall, the future of CBD industry is very bright. This will flourish and will give way to various forms. CBD will be officially permitted for sale and then there will be no danger of federal intervention. Cannabis-based medicines have confirmed safety and consistency for regulatory agreement in spasticity in multiple sclerosis (MS) and in Lennox-Gastaut Syndromes (LGS).
